Darn "turf" so slippery that even with good shoes I fly off the footholds... anybody else has the same experiance? How did you deal with it? The turf job is so nice on the XFS, but if it will continue to assessinate me I need to do something about it.. and quick...

Be obliged for any indication.. maybe RRP has some real turf for that ski?

Thanks!

Andrew

I understand that the turf on those skis is not THAT hydroturf, but just turf look a like? I think this is a real downside of that ski..how can a freestyle ski have dangerous turf?!

The turf on the rickters is just terrible, and I just struggled with it last year. Returfing mine in the next few weeks. RRP needs to step there game up with real hydroturf....

yeah and sell at a very discounted price a set for those who feel the turf is not right..(becuase it's reallny not ok) - the rest of the ski is a dream after oem hull

Also, glue some grey Hydroturf under mat to the top of the foot holds (on top of the stock RRP turf), you'll be astonished at how much better it is ;0)

Here's what happened on my first flips on stock RRP turf, hence why I suggest the above..

Stock turf aint the best but looks really nice, insert genuine HT in the footholds and you all set.

Turf aside this hull is amazing to ride, absolutely love it!

yeah, i think i will go with the option of inserting some turf around foothold area first.. and wintertime its new turf for Rikki :)

If you place a new peice of Hydroturf in the foot hold area over the top of the existing RRP turf and cut through both with a scalpel in the shape you need, then remove the RRP turf the new Hydroturf peice will be the perfect size/shape to drop in place of what you removed:djsmilie:
