Ah 'The wait' - that sucks, mine took 7 x months, 2 x months longer than I was told when ordering - but what a hull, you'll love it, they flip and roll so easy - I'd never back flipped a ski in my life, surf or flat water, mine went straight round and nosed in 2nd try - hadn't even run the first kart tank out - just went for it lol.

It's official, rickter turf blows!! The ski has done numerous backies, while I slip out of the holds. Almost nailed one, but the feeling of coming out is not a good feeling when going for it. Ripped the rickter turf/padding after today's ride, new padding and real hydroturf getting installed tomorrow or Friday.

Motoman96, show us some pics - I need to do it sooner or later as well. The turf gets justa tiny bit better once you ride a few times with proper shoes, but still dangerous - my legs look beaten so bad due to that...

Have you guys glued some soft foam padding to the inside top of the footholds (soft grey Turf undermat is perfect)? Do this and your feet won't ever fall out again.. And its supercomfy.. Also sand the base Mat in the foot holds with some rough glass paper as well. These two mods and it grips just like regular turf!

Clean your turf with some bleach & water with a nylon bristle brush then hand rub it with some 60-grit sandpaper to get the rough textured surface back.

Also a new pair of shoes with a improved tread pattern might help.

Ripped all the stock stuff off, put down new 1" pad and some real turf. Finished it tonight, whatever rickter uses to adhere their turf is NO joke.

I hate turfing with a passion!!! Huge thanks to Aquamann for the padding and turf, and my buddy for helping me.
