Being that I never intend to use it again I remove it completely, grind down the tube housing and flush-fill with JB weld. Nothing wrong with just capping it, but I’m too OCD to leave it at that.

You can just cap it or fill it with JB weld. People run it uncapped. It doesn’t hurt anything.

I'm grabbing a vacuum line cap tomorrow from the auto parts store. See how long that lasts. Can't commit to jb weld just yet...

thats what I used before. From what I remember it lasted a couple years.
