Take it out and use a bench vise + heat + penetrant. No tool necessary on the midshaft side. JMs cold fusion fly locker tool works great on the crank snout side without pulling the motor.
or if you dont have a vise, use a big pipe wrench on the midshaft and and bar of some sort that fits in the teeth of the coupler. ghetto but itll get it done
