removing hydro turf?

ive did this 3 times in the last year and still havent found a good way. ive just been using a big screw driver takes forever. the left over comes off good with a wire wheel and die grinder. some of you guys that turf your skis got any tricks they would like to share.

I removed mine today off my ski using a new sharp putty knife and pulling it up at the same time as I'm using the putty knife to jab at the part still glued down and it took me less than 15 minutes to peel the entire ski .

Then a wire wheel like you said to take all the little bits of glue off ,than a rotary sander to get it perfect

A paint stripper will make th glue jump out of your way and apologize for the inconveinience but will do the same to your paint.

LOL! Yes, it also works for removing old props and fitting aftermarket pole springs :sneaky:

Yep, I found that solvents worked ok also but it still sucks. I dont think you need to worry about the paint since thats the reason your removing it.
