So I need to take my FP Dry Pipe out of my SXR (I didn't put it in), looks like a real tight fit. Anyone have a trick or two to share?

Thanks

if the rear area of the hood seal lip has not been notched on the hull then the motor needs to be un bolted from the motor mounts and shift forward to clear the hull.

Got all the hardware off and moved the motor forward but am unable to get the pipe off of the manifold using a rod in the lord mount bracket (opposite to install). Knuckles are sore!! Anyone??

its on there good, there are 2 orings that the pipe clicks into on the manifold. I took a large screw driver and did what you described...might have to do some wiggling/pulling by hand on the chamber to help get them apart.

You can try twisting pipe back & forth. if not
Pull the motor with the pipe on it. I've done it before. just pull the carbs first.
