I recently bought what was suppose to be a new never used power factor pipe and rad dudes tank. The pfp chamber needs 3 of the water fitting threads retapped on the chamber and the rad dudes tank needs a vent thread retapped. Might need helicoils on the pfp but the rad dues tank isn’t to bad i just don’t have the right tap. If anybody could point me in the direction of a reputable machinist who’s done this kind of fix it’d be much appreciated. Located in west michigan but willing to ship. the chamber is 1/8 npt. almost all the powerfactors i have taken the fittings out of have mangled up threads. chase it with a 1/8 npt tap and u should be ok. the tank shoudl be the same thread size.

Go to sands motorsports in grand haven.
Greg told me recently that he's trying to just do cylinder boring and ... I think crankshaft work (I went there for boring, so lucky me, but that's why I can't recall the other thing he said). Regardless, he might help with this, but I'd call before going.

Thanks for the info! I got the threads workable, I’ll keep sand motorsports in mind for future projects. I don’t want to throw anybody under the bus, can’t prove its even their fault. I just needed to work up the courage to tap threads on a part that hadn’t even been installed on anything yet…
