Steve speaking of clamming up ,Maybe with the puchase of your new__________cc motor (insert proper brand and cc displacement info here) was more than poor Deano could handle .had to get himself a project ..looks like it could use some TLC but a great canvas for the$$$$$ way to go !

Rust never sleeps

"Sweet.... does she run? "

We're most likely looking at a bit of cleanup.

Gnarled!

I'm curious, at any point were you ....scared?

Also did you notice the bushing came out of the flywheel cover?

Scared? No, we were actually cracking up. But, yeah,Brian...after we stopped laughing... I did notice that. In all my years of wrenching...I don't think I've ever seen that bushing pull out like that!!!!

I'm thinking this could be the gnarliest motor that I've ever laid a wrench on. I'm talking hall of shame stuff, here.

You should have smelled the rusty, musty, funk gunk that spilled out of this thing!!!

Is that Grey Poupon inside those crank cases?
HAHAHA Too funny ,yes grey poupon goes great on motors! on a serious note what a shame this was a motor that supposedly had never been run they just stole parts off it at the dealership and left it outside with no hood or carbs? damn...

Still a hell of a deal even if you buy a used or rebuilt engine. I have 3 650 engines that look exactly like that one, except under the flywheel cover, I havnt seen that yet.
