Restricting water before pissers

I am running dual cooling, 2 inlets on the exhaust manifold, with a big bore 850 motor. I live in Colorado, and the water is cold now. It doesnt get super hot ever.

Out of both pissers, the water is barely warm. If I put restrictors right before the water exits out the pissers, it will make the engine run hotter? If so What size would you reccommend starting out on. I do not have a temp guage. I am also running a very tight restrictor before the pipe stinger.

Or should I just switch back to single cooling?

I run a simple valve att my hothands/pisser i Can then ajust too the engine temp i want. Remember that change engine afects carb settings.

Use the brass seat from a worn SBN needle and seat. You can drill it to any size you need. It will fit perfectly into cooling lines. I have sets of 2mm and 3mm that I used to run when I rode a lot in cold weather in NE. Then you just SS hose clamp them inside the line before the pisser outlet.

It's hard to tell but I'm set up I think just like you. I used 1/4in gate valves. They work amazing. I can adjust the flow to make the temp perfect. The one to the left is for my home made 'hot hands' and the one one the right is the one I use to control flow for temp. Hope this helps.
