Return fuel line plugged. Case full of fuel

What should I do to get fuel out? Turn it over with plugs out and stray it all over? Looked into carbs and both totally full. Pulled off pulse line and filled up a whole water bottle

I think I'll put one pulse line in a bottle and blow into other pulse line to purge it out. That way I don't break my reeds. Obviously I have good case pressure as far as leak down goes. Ha ha

stay away from these fuel lines. Man did it cause some bull crap in my life. They were attached to my fuel pickups in tank. Like a straw inside with glue that breaks down and gets past filters. Always something I tell ya

Those look like the tempo fuel lines that came on sea doos in the 90's. They clogged a ton of carbs and ruined a ton of motors. I think it happened with the addition of ethanol

Nah, that was a reaction between the brass fittings and the vinyl in the fuel tubing. It was Green GOO. Happened no matter what fuel was used.

This however may be related to the fuel breaking down the tubing. What brand tubing is that?

I'll check the brand in a.m. A marine fuel line. I had a bad feeling the first time I installed it. Should have listed to gut instinct. It started out restricting flow. Crinkled up a bit. A few years ago I was trying to buy similar to oem hose and was told this was better but expensive. I had no idea how expensive it could have been. I keep close feel on how my ski runs and if it acts funny I find out why.

I ran the same fuel line. When the ski would sit for a few days the fuel would turn colors. This happened about a week after install. Ran it for 3 weeks swapped it out with another brand. It did not cause any issues but the fuel turning colors wasn't going to get to the point ur at now.

I just ran all my fuel out and I'm gonna go through carbs and fuel system one more and last time with this issue. Now these jets in return. Is it just to hold pressure better?

For the carburetors to work correctly you need some fuel pressure. I believe something like 2-3 psi at idle and 4-6 psi at WOT. You can do a little fine tuning of the jetting by adjusting the restrictor. Ideally you use a fuel pressure gauge to set the restrictor jet size. Most just guess and adjust through trial and error.

Adjusting the restrictor too much may change your jetting needs or carbs that are hard to tune.

I must be missing something here. How does a plugged return fill your engine?

You have fuel line gunk in be carb making the n/s not close or a bad tank vent.

Because your engine doesn't use all of the fuel that's supplied by the fuel pump.. Pull the throttle, engine takes in air due to increased vacuum, vacuum draws fuel into the carb, jets regulate the amount of fuel into the engine, and the excess goes back through the return line. If it's clogged, the excess fuel has nowhere to go but down the intake tract until the motor fuel-locks

At least that's what I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please!!! Google or the x couldn't answer the question so I just thought of that off the top of my head..
