Who has ridden a rev hull and what was you thoughts
I dont want to know about dealing with wdk just your thoughts on the ski
thanks

I've still got 2 revs laying out back that need to be put back together and sold or ridden. Both of mine have been angle cut shortened in the back. One was john Kaiser's 2006 WF comp hull and the other was derick ski clinics hull. They dont have any rocker in the front and are a bit wider than a SJ on the bottom. Basically just a mod superjet hull. I had a gen 1 wdk1200 in one and a maekawa 1000 in the other so I wasnt exactly rec riding them. They were great boat chasers for flips n rolls.

This is the one I just picked up. It’s going to be an interesting ride. It’s a 927, novis, msd total loss etc

It's too long for flat water unless it has huge power. Those 927s dont have very good bottom end. More of a mid top motor just like all wdk junk including the 3 1200s I have. Like you can see , no rocker so no pop . Those billet poles are very heavy too. I got one laying out back. Those hulls came with a couple different layups . Prepreg that looks like cardboard box pattern and glass chop. It's probably a good rec or freeride boat

It's very similar to a superjet, a bit like an SJ with thin front sponsons as the edge of the bottom is slightly different and the sides are slightly angled out unlike the straight up SJ. I had one with a stock 66E, WDK pipe and 48 Powerbombs, it was a pretty fun boat but nothing spectacular in any way.
The inner hull liner piece tends to separate from the bottom deck.

Nice looking ski thanks for that. Im thinking about putting tubbies on the front of the ski to help it turn and handle a bit better

How did you like the power

I sold it to my buddy right when I got home haha, but I was gonna say should have a review on it once it warms up a little, he’s just throwing a stock wetjet motor in there for now

It was good, felt much like a big block compared to the 61x/62t platform. Again mine was bone stock so low compression, electric powervalves and kind of janky exhaust so I think there was more to be had from simple things like pipe tuning, more compression and better ignition. It was a bit slow to rev but the midrange and top end was great. I think a bigger pump, high compression and zealtronic would really wake it up.

No, the rear cylinder had a bit of water on the crank so im pulling it down and will inspect the crank before blowing it up. That sucked a bit but I would rather not damage it
Does it have a waterbox?
