Rev Limiter off the start..... (Prop Size)

Hey guys,

As i have finally finished my ski with the help of several friends (Thanks Pete, Sean, CpWa)... Noticed something that we can't figure out.

Mods (Ada Head, MSD, Pipe) a stock prop 96' hits rev limiter if a nail it from the start i HAVE to feather it to get up on plane.. Once i do i can bunny hop the living hell outa it...

Tried a 9/16? That Pancaker let me try (Thanks again) and Spun the living bajesus outta that even worse... But a pump cone on as well and the whole thing was wicked (Spinning) on the bottom.. (Great mid though)

Question: What is next to try? 13/18 Swirl, 12/17 solas? Any opinions or ideas... Ooo and i'm trying XRtech grate (This a problem perhaps?) Have an R & D for testing..

Your ski sounds very similar to Kenny's 08 setup (that Pete helped with). Go with the same prop he used.

Zach, we can take it down to the water this week, I think its a couple things.

I think a 12/17 would be best. But also i think a less agresive grate. and possible we need to tune.

You motor was loading up, for a pipe, head & msd.

I would like to rip it and see.

we get her going.
