Update

started putting in the hull inner hardware, waterbox (ATP) coupler assy. Motor Mounts, Exhaust hose. assembled the electronics.

Flipped the hull to install the pump shoe, it was tight and had to sand some of the gelcoat down. and modified the pump shoe to clear the plumbing tubes.

I like the bottom of the hull and how the graphics are in the gelcoat.

also showing the hull bottom protection plate picture.

nice... this is the carbon fiber hull? did you weigh it yet? What did rickter tell you the weight would be for the fiberglass and carbon fiber versions... i've seen different weights reported.... I'm guessing the new generation is lighter... I heard the fiberglass is about 80 lbs with the hood....

Did you have to buy that rideplate or did it come with the hull purchase?

Mine weighed 113 LBS (hull/hood) - fiberglass version.

I highly doubt they have dropped a full 30 LBS.

Ride plate was included.

the weight of the Hull,box,boat cover,protection plate,ride plate,hood, chin pad, and packing 60.85KG = 134.151 LBS.

this is what i have. i cant weigh the hull since i'm that far in assembly.

At the end i have a complete carbon XFT and i will have a complete Rickter. will weigh and compare.
them when done. you usually ride the boat complete after all not a bare hull.

ive never seen a protection plate before ...looks great!

when I was at TC freeride I saw the carbon ski he was building for a customer had the protection plate.

I was given a protection plate for a RN superjet a long time ago... I will never ever use it... just sits in the rafters of my garage... Someone can have it for free if they come get it.

More Updates

Yesterday installed the pump shoe, steering cable, trim cable, intake grate, Magnum Pump and the blowsion trim system. what i did not like is how tight is the pump bay and it is not easy to install the cooling hoses in there.

started the engine assembly, it is slow due to the lake of hardware at the dealer. but it is coming along. should be done with the motor tomorrow.

Handle pole on, after testing many steering cables i have finally found one that
can fit the hull comfortably. other than the stock super jet cables.
part #EW-61481-00

the throttle cable Part# EU0-67252-02

also installed the intake tubes.
the straight handle bar from RRP is way too wide will shortened

Motor will be done today.
I would like to hear your opinion Doctors?
twin 48mm power bombs, or single full spectrum 49mm?
motor is 8mm billet Lamey

twin full spec 49's...

the motor in my avatar runs on a single 49, but it is stock stroke small bore.....

duals will work MUCH better with your setup..

I like the hit of a single, the motor has an enhancer for ignition
and it is small bore 85mm.

I ran twin 48pb on the xft 10mm lamey cast it runs well
but I have a TL for ignition
