Hello, does anyone know what is the official difference in net empty hull weight between EDGE FR and EDGE FS? Is there also any structural or technical difference between FR and FS? Thanks

Think it is about 15 lbs. They only difference is layup. That said, there are a few riders rising the FS in big surf with no issues.

you now what is the difference in layup? I don't understand what the essence of the difference is, when it's only 15lb, that's about 1/3 of the fuel tank....

Carbon core edge hull as it comes from rickter is 116lbs.

Layup is the schedule of sheets of glass or carbon. How many layers used. This will vary depending on what part of the hull you are talking about. So, the FS is a lighter layup. Less material equals less weight. That said, the FR was the standard Run. the FS was special order. They did not make nearly as many FS's vs the FR.
