What was it? Looks to be cast, did somebody make a one off casting? (Seems wierd)
It was what I’m assuming to be a one off casting I got with a bunch of other weird parts including a cast lower case half that accepts 701 style bed plates and a 5mm stroker crank..
I was going to run it because I couldn’t afford a lay down at that moment but decided otherwise when I couldn’t clear power valves.
I’d have to dig up some pics I sold it years ago.

A Superjet limited chamber would not, so with @Storbeck 's help, we tested a Blaster limited chamber and it fits well. I was able to buy a chamber and we'll be able to get that in. I'm really curious about the 66E platform, I've never riden a ski with anything 66E before.
It’s going to be incredibly fun, they’re awesome motors and feel totally different then a 61x/62t platform. They just keeeeep pulling. I’m very curious to see how the b pipe performs, we made all sorts of wild chambers including center bleeds for these motors but never tried a b pipe.
If you end up looking for tuning specs or anything PM me I have pages of stuff I wrote down over the years

I would be very interested in a weight comparison of the 66e motor to a typical stock cylinder yamaha and maybe a billet big bore (billet cylinder probably a little heavier than a stock cylinder).

I've heard lots of rumors and guesses but I don't think I've ever seen somebody actually doing a weight comparison on the same scale of like-like motors. Not one with carbs and one without or one with exhaust manifold and one without and then guess what the manifold weighed or that sort of thing.

I will weigh a 1200 dasa next to a 1000cc 66e stroker in the next month or so and post it. Short blocks
Sorry for thread jacking I’m done : )

Trevor and I took some weights. When I put together the video I’ll record some weights here.

I really think a lot of the weight difference is in the exhaust manifold and exhaust, everything is much beefier on an 800, cases, crankshaft cylinders, head , flywheel, everything

This ski won't make it. It would be fun to ride in the surf but the logistics of getting this in the trailer makes it complicated. I'll be there with many of the usual MN crew. Should be fun.
