Other Rickter MX1

@Paulk1 have you got your MX1 yet ? Any more pics or build details ?
Ended up buying xfr textreme and took priority. So that literally just got finished building. So mx1 build will start now. Got a little carried away with xfr and ninja 1200 motor so took a little longer than planned. But now back to mx1! Going with dasa 1000/155 pump instead of 850 or 950 like we originally planned. Abraham ho just for the green mx1 one looks awesome!

I own a rockered blaster and I've ridden a viper, they literally feel the exact same. The mx1 looks to be very "blaster like".

Truth609 does the viper sink, while boarding ,or when stopped, like an X2 ,or is it buoyant like boarding a blaster?

Viper is easier to board than a stock blaster. It's 3" shorter, but a little wider. It does not sink when you try to get on it. I'm 166 lbs though.

Ok great , Now we need to find out if the Rickter Mx1 boards like an X2 or a blaster/viper

You can pretty much already tell that it will not board like an x2 at all based on its size, pictures of it, and the few videos I've seen.. I think it's pretty obvious that it's a glorified b1 type hull.
I can't wait till they pop up used since I'm too cheap to buy new. That textreme carbon looks insane on it...

It is bouyant like a blaster. I found it no different than my rockered blaster, felt exactly the same.

Great ! , do you own one, ? or just rode one? Was wounder if it's worth the $ ,and any other info on your ride of the mx1 would be great!

Everyone keep doing the same thing over and over trying to copy a blaster. They always end up with something that is more like a blaster and less like the freestyle ski that everyone wants. Hull builders, try modifying your skis into great fixed steers. Forget the seat, its just in the way. Make the handlebar location infinitely and easily adjustable. Lower and incline the footwells, and get the rear to sink down for easy boarding in surf. There will be room for extra foam up top so it wont go to be bottom like all current freestyle skis do.

Its far better than a blaster. So easy to ride, you cant fall off it. 1ft Surf, Carves hard or gentle. Keep flat and it slides. Lean a little and it grips. On any other sit down my weight makes it flip over me on a nose stab landing . This thing rode away from everything. It's like having 701 flex fins built in. Didn't side mount because never fell off. For a beginner, easily the easiest ski to ride for sure. For a pro. I guess it's like the edge of sit downs. Handles or slides. Steering was not for me. A fair bit of arm pump. I like suspension and foots straps are ok. Would want to see how to mount Dave's ones or even ninja footholds. Pierres vid shows the rest of what you can do. Quality is another level. Just amazing.
