Rickter Raw Build!

I just bought a Rickter Raw and I figured I should start a tread. I don’t think I’ve come across one yet.

Here are the details:
Rickter Raw
Yamaha 773 with dry pipe
155 pump with 7/12 impeller

I sold my Superjet Hull and bought this so it time to build it.

*I am not a professional I’m doing things the way I know how. However, I would love any tips and tricks if you guys have them!!!

are you going to open up the tray and do footholds? Alot of people im sure have many questions about these hulls. Whats the inside of the engine compartment look like? Its just fixed motor mount stands not the adjustable plates right?

I’ll snap some pics tomorrow of the inside. It has fixed mounts just like a superjet.

As far as footholds, I’m most likely going to put lifters under the hydroturf. I put foot holds on my SJ and never used them. I figured with Dakine foot straps and lifters I’ll be happy

Had you been running that motor on a stock SJ hull with a stock pump? If so super curious to see how you feel about a 155 with a that prop!

Ya I was running that set up in my SJ, motor and pump. It was amazing! Hit hard down low and keep up with sxrs at the top end

Are you painting the top deck too? What kind of footholds are you going to run?

Cool build. I love my FS2 evo, keeps me content with just a piped 701 for my level of riding.

Top deck is getting the same color. Just put down my first coat

As far as foot holds I’m not going to run any. Just turf and foot straps. Anyone have an idea on turf? I’m thinking white

It’s a stripped down version. Do you have tubbies on yours? Does the ski need them?

Neat - I thought they all had the footholds in them - that looks kinda / sorta like a SJ tray - is it wider than stock SJ? It looks like a really strong hull. That design was good. My buddy had one and it took a beating (rock hits, beaching, hitch hauler slid off on road etc etc) kept going no sweat.
