Rickter scupper removal

I wouldn't want to get too farmer on my new to me Rickter. Even with the 2.5" versi dont you still have to pull your original trim ring off? seams like both the "pretty" solutions require you to hack the trim ring off. I'm leaning towards a new $30 "flapper" from Maniac

You can install The versi style from inside the engine bay side and Push it to rear behind the afixed scupper flange.

+1 ive fitted a few like that.

I then put some mesh (bit out of the stock oem air box) over the hole to stop any cable ties etc getting stuck in the ball
