I've heard the new FR-3 is 3 Inches shorter the the FR-2 Evo, also with more rocker.

The new ski is the Edge. 2" shorter waterline. A little less rocker than evo. They had 2 at surf slam. Nose has more abrupt corners. Tray is still the same.

The ski Rok was riding is 2014
Edge is 2" shorter than evo, complete new bottom and top deck. Less rocker than evo. Rails are different as well as sponsons. Chines are deeper

The edge is designed for entry level all the way to pro riders. It is very stable and nimble. My 5 year old rides it, my wife loves it and I love to ride waves on it. It is very versatile as far as being able to build a ski that can do a back flip flat water and be a fun surf ski that can go fast and track well
