RICKTER talk

O I'm not sure he said it was a 15 maybe its really a 14. But I was just trying to see what I could fit a hull in. If I end up making a road trip for .
Thanks

Has anybody installed a Versa Plug Max in their Scupper?
It looks like some guy in Europe did it , thought the Scupper in my Rickter is close to 2.5 inches. and the
Versa Plug is 2.

Are you guys removing scupper first thing or running it for a season or two? Seems silly they would just put a scupper on that make the boat leak.

I've heard good things on those versa plugs though.

My buddy Phil Elliot has one in his Edge FR as his previous scupper flap on his Evo fell off. I have an early Evo and my scupper in still going strong so im not worried personally.

OVP versiplug style is the easiest to install on rickter scupper tube. Spray the orings with WD40, stick it from inside out. Lock the pinscrews. Done.
No need to remove the stock scupper plate. If you have removed it, check with Thrust. They make both US standard and Rickter size tube versiplug scuppers.
This is the first mode rickter owners should do on their new hulls.
Stock flap scupper never seals 100% and sooner or later will f**k you up.

dmpus are you talking about the versiplug max ?

Anyone have the TI rickter scupper? I was on a Xfs this weekend with no bilge in big surf and made it out ok. Ball scupper would be much safer than the flap I reckon.

I bought one but it doesn't fit quite right in my edge the angle of the tube against the back of the ski keeps the back plate from laying flat. That's why I'm trying to sort out another option I'm probably going to do exactly what Sean in Jersey did and put the scupper ring back on make a round aluminum plate and put a versa plug R on it

I also ordered from the link posted above and also had it in hand in just a few days.

The OV scupper fits perfectly. I actually left the scupper flap on the back intact and slide this in from inside the engine bay. You would never know it is there and my hull stays dry. Prior to installing the OV scupper, the flap let in quite a bit of water even though the hull was brand new.
