Haha sounds like it. I've broken 2 couch mounts with no insert issues... Knock on wood.
ive never heard of anyone having that issue either but not all carnage is leaked to th public. That is fo sho!

I've pulled motor mount inserts out of my Freak. It also broke 3/4 Cold Fusion motor mounts, so maybe it's me, IDK.

Maybe it was because you landed your freak too flat from this height? Lol….. Seriously, that was a good v-wake carnage.

matt, you can't blame the ski for you ripping that insert out. you were flopping with only 1 motor mount.... i know tem hasn't said it, but the liner now is way different and doesn't have the issues of the first.

It was my abuse on the hull that caused it, no question. The only point here was that every hull will have some kind of issue if you just flog it enough.

Did not see any Titans. Saw a circus full carbon being built for a customer. 2 of the guys in our group ( facebook Florida Freeriders) have titans. -4 and -9.
I decided on the xfr simply because i didnt want a ski i have to get painted, turfed, extra TLC installing and drilling everything, and obviously the rickter is sex

Be sure to pull the bolts for the motormount rail and loctite them.

Sounds like you should really take the time to try all your options. Wait till after Daytona to make your decision. You seem very indecisive, no offense.

Went to SAMs yesterday to buy a 32" TV. Planned on buying a VIZEO. They had a great deal on a JVC. Only had an old Analog movie playing. Thought it looked good. Got it home. And now second guessing. May need to return it. You can do that with TVs. Not so with Hulls. Better to wait than to make a hasty decision.

Indecisive, just that I've done more research since the beginning and realized this is the better ski for my style of riding. I have a local friend with a fs2. I like it
Any fs2 owners here that regret getting one?

Test-ride whatever you are considering in the water conditions you'll be riding in. All other 'research' that doesn't involve riding it yourself is nearly useless.
Sounds like you tried the FS2 and liked it.
They can be had for less money now that the EVO1 hull generation is out.

Nope, it's not just you. I had a rattle last year that was driving me nuts, one of the inserts was loose and moving around. I caught it before it came out. Easy enough to fix, just ground the carbon off, drilled some holes, epoxied and added some carbon.

Every hull will have it's issues. I've ridden quite a few, and I absolutely love my superfreak. I've beat the crap out of it for the last 3 years and it's got a LOT of hours on it, so far so good.
