Rickter XFS competition vs LSP Revolver 2015

Hey,

Coming from a Superjet, saving money for a couple of years now and finally got some hair on my chest, I think I´m ready to buy a get-high-in-the-air flatwater machine :)

My wishlist;
*1200cc pump gas setup
*160mm pump
*Total loss

But my biggest concern right now is the hull.. I´m going for the carbon layup, but which brand..?
I know it´s some size difference between XFS competition and the Revolver and we all have different ridingstyles etc etc..

Hit me, good and bad stuff you know about these brands and models.
Maybe someone have ridden them both and can tell ?

Shipping no problema Jw03.. I live in Europe, and when you buy from Europe you don’t have to pay any import duty. Buying stuff from US you have to pay like 26-27% on top of the total price.. So a expensive machine get even more expensive when it arrives here in Europe :)

Thats why I rather buy from builders here in Europe.

Jonas, i think the best thing would be to try riding them for yourself. 2 reasons. You could get a colored opinion from a sponsored or semi sponsored rider.
You could get a opinion from a rider, with a completely different riding style and impression of what is good and what is nice.
I think its hard to go wrong with a XFS, but they are really expensive if you want a competition carbon wiehgt hull. I would consider Xscream KDX/KDX as i really think its top notch! Allso the HAVOC is really nice.
From the pictures the Trixstar looks nice, i haven't rode one, but would like to.
Bottom line, if you should spend 3000sek on plane tickets to UK to try out hulls, it would well worth the money. pretty frustrating to buy an expensive hull, to find out it dosent fit you and you will sell it again (with a loss) Ask me how i know. lol

I have the new 2015 XFS Ninja Competition here in the UK with an XS1200 you can try if you're over this way? I've ridden the Revolver as well, albiet only for a few minutes. Both ride nice and the 2015 XFS is much shorter and more agile than the 2014. Which handles better I dont know, personal preferance I guess. Both hulls have World titles under their belts and are capable of way more than most of the riders on here - me included!

If you're looking to spend that kind of cash look at the residual values and ease of sale of the hulls in question - thats your 'true cost'...

You might also want to ask around on ease of assembly and longevity in normal use, particulalrly if you're learning and 'coming up short' on landings - this will place a significant additional loading on a hull..

I would also consider a DVX, very capable boat.
