Super Jet Ride plate problems..........what ride plate?

Hit up Lewisville with the guys today and got in one hell of a first half of a ride behind a big cruiser. Took a nice jump, started to chase back down the boat, and ski started hopping like a mofo! :shrug:First just thought it was the choppy ass water, but something just didn't feel right.
Rode back in and Mark says, "let me look at the back edge of your rideplate.....you might have tweaked it." I lift the backend of my ski outa the water and he starts laughing. I'm like....."what, is it the rideplate?" He says..."yeah, what ride plate?"
Well....at least one corner of it was left!

I guess I'll go with that!! LOL! Not really sure what the hell happened. Think I lost my front 2 bolts and the water force snapped it backwards.?

Thats probably what happened. That is what happened on an intake grate on my freinds 750sxi

That's what I get for not doing a regular "once over" checkup on my ski every couple of weeks.

I had two bolts come out of one side of my rideplate last weekend. I kept having to fight it to go in a straight line, it must have been dragging in the water and acting like a rudder. I'm lucky it didnt rip off and end up in the bottom of the lake.

I've lost 3 rideplates on my superjet. One was fiberglass, and two were oem. All three times I didn't lose any bolts and broke them all off, go figure.

New plate and CDI this weekend. Everything held up great except for my knee and foot! Wicked riding today with no mechanical breakdowns for a change! Just my body!
