Ride Plate rocker

What would be the best way to make a mold of my current ride plate so I could shape and make a prototype? I want to add some rocker to the rear of my ski. The 50cal ride plate runs the whole length of the ski so I could add rocker to the whole width.

I was told plaster of paris would work well. Any suggestion would be great.

Google how to make a fiberglass mold, there's plenty of info and videos on the subject.

Make a mold of the stock plate, then cut up the new plate you made, test, then once your happy make a mold of it.
