Ride to and from Sanford airport?

I am still thinking about coming down for the event. I am debating renting a car or trying to hitch a ride from Sanford airport in Orlando.
I would probably be flying in on Thursday early afternoon and heading back home on Monday morning.
Anybody planning to make that trek?
