Riding alone ???

I do it all the time even though I've melted a piston and was a few miles from the launch... Before I could even get my whistle out a boater had seen my motor die and came to help. Have also ridden in cold water, I stay within a mile or so of the launch in case so I can swim to shore... If she was going down I carry a 20ft rope with a bouy, I'd go back with the boat in a hurry to get it back.
Use common sense, I ride on Nipissing, it's a big lake... Do I venture miles and miles off shore alone? Never! Ride alone? 50% of my rides are alone lol

Inland lakes ride whenever you want; alone or with company.

Great Lakes never ride alone in anything other than noaa determined flat days....ask me how I know. Do not trust your ski in a great lakes washing machine!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't say anything about the ocean because I've never road it.

I ride on two lakes. One 80 acre small lake and another lake across the street that's 1k+ acres. I usually only ride that lake when there's a lot of people on it for chasing boats, so if I'm alone I'm not too worried because if I have to, I can flag someone down..
When gale force winds come and the lake is empty I've been stupid though due to how tempting the waves are. I've never had my ski break down in a situation like that, but I won't do it alone again.. Yeah it was only waist high but still.

On the 80 acre lake I'll cruise on my 550 alone all day cuz I know I can swim from end to end with it if I had to. But if I'm on my superjet and going somewhat hard, I won't ride alone unless I've got a helmet. If alone, wear a helmet and stay within a safe swimming distance from shore, and make sure your dressed for the temperatures.. Only takes one accident for a tragedy to happen.
