Riding in Kenosha/Racine area

I'll be moving to Racine, Wi in about a month and I'm curious where the best spots to ride on Lake Michigan in that area are? Also, are there any other members on here that live in the Racine area? I'm aware that the annual Watcon ride is near Racine so I can't wait to go to that once I'm up there!

I used to live in Kenosha. I would launch from the base in Great Lakes though. fwiw: Kenosha was a dry county when i was there. So pick up your booz before you get there. lol

Winthrop Harbor is where I used to ride. Free launch and cool spot when the waves kick up

I've been living in Racine the last few years - Usually launch at the Pershing Park Boat launch. It's right by the beach, and there's a small area behind a rock wall to block the waves if you'd rather ride the calm waters on wavy days. Let me know if you want to ride sometime.
