Riding Rochester NY?

So, I may be spending more than a 'bit of time' in the Rochester NY area. Are standups allowed on Lake Ontario? Are there other places to ride in that area? Any idea of waterfront home prices? (not looking for a mansion, it's just me and my dog....so two bed, one bath would be enough but it HAS to be waterfront w/dock, or at least a place I could put a dock in) Thanks for any and all insight.

I grew up there. I remember them closing the beaches from too much toxic crap testing in the water a couple times a year.
Besides that, its cold as all hell. F that noise. Move to AZ and ride with us.

Waterfront property on Lake Ontario has been tricky the last couple of year due to the fact that the lake level is up so high and many people are getting flooded out. Definitely a solid standup crew out here.

58* water too warm? Wtf is wrong with you?
I just don’t like the heat. Mid summer in the shallow part of my lake the water gets to about 82. It’s disgusting. It’s like swimming in chowder it’s so warm. I like water to be refreshing and for air temps I’ll take 75 degrees please. That’s why I can’t stand Florida. The weather is cloying and suffocating to me and the water is like swimming in pi$$. Way too hot.

Rochester is totally your style. Your gonna like it there. And wegmans. Oh man do I get sad when I think about wegmans and how we don't have them here.
