I was just riding the sac river at miller park on Monday. Got to see THE BUZZARD too!!! Guy is an awesome rider and did some nastiness on my ski. Water was surprisingly not too cold for being a river. I vote for another trip up there @Midlake Crisis. Get to meet some of the other riders in that area too like @Quinc and i think @chucktor is up that way??

how far away does that put you guys? I was just in that area this weekend but not too familiar with it all. Oroville sounds familar from looking at the map tho

Quinc is 25min away from me. I'm right next to lake oroville and the afterbay is just off hwy70/99

how far is afterbay compared to miller? Also what is the water like there? miller was wide open and flat, perfect for my FW ski. Unfortunetly I do not have a river running ski like the video although that looks like a LOT of fun!

Miller is.about 1 hour 15 min from me. Afterbay is just outside of oroville. Super flat. Spot to beach right where u pull up. Where we ride most of the time

It is a great spot and the water is normally a bit warmer compared to other lakes. Supposed to be 73degrees on Sunday too.
