Riding with a Helmet...affecting balance??

I never wear a helmet..i have a moto 1 as well .. and it kills my balance and my vision ...

but now i'm getting real nervous reading about all these injuries...

wtf do i do is the question !

I don't like wearing a helmet, I sometimes feel my balance is off as well.

Love it! Does not protect your face though, but it keeps the ears covered.

That is the same one Katie and I use and love it, I can't ride without it.

It's a whitewater kayaking helmet made by Cascade. You can find them on ebay. I got mine on www.kayakshed.com because I couldn't find one on ebay with the shield included at the time.

I feel weird without a helmet. I don't have hair so the helmet keeps the sun off my lid as well.

I was riding flat water a month or so ago and did a turn sub and the ski popped up with me way off the back of the ski. When it popped up it was nose high it somehow flipped over and landed on my head. Didn't hurt a bit but I would have been hurt pretty good without the helmet.

Also got slammed in the shore pound and slammed my ski with my head. The helmet saved me there.

I'm enjoying the Bell Bellistic. It doesn't weigh hardly anything (907 grams) and its priced well.

I ride with the same and it doesn't affect me at all. Other than the fact, that I'm more likely to do dumb while wearing. I definitely faceplanted into the tray of my ski last month, but the helmet saved my face & I was back up and riding within 30 seconds. After, the laughter subsided of course, haha

I like the bellistic because it fits me snug and is very lightweight. Like i said, I don't notice a weight difference while wearing. Much lighter than wearing a football helmet or something. ( haven't done that on a ski, just a comparison :icon16: )
