Every time I see a post I will go back and read some of the comments. I noticed that twice on the anniversary I mentioned to keep his parents in your thoughts. "They are having a hard time"......... Well, They are still in the same "Place". I have come to realize that you will never "get over it". Different people handle different problems differently. I keep expecting to get a call or notification that I do not want to get, I pray that I dont............. I do not know if I could go on if I lost my daughter.......... I feel like my life would just end. I hurt daily at Jesse's loss. Not a day goes by that I dont think of him just a little. Some days I do cry. The pain never goes away. I even think sometimes maybe I could just close this. But that would be giving up. I dont want to "forget"......... Just thinking out loud here. It really means alot that total strangers will make a comment. I love our group of misfits here.

I remember when Jesse got into the whole ski scene, he was riding back in the day when Riot Radio was thriving and I believe it was right around the time I met you at the APBA Nationals...P-diddy was staying w/ you or something??? Anyhow even though I did not know him other than these boards I realize that he served this great country and every time I come across this thread I get very sad too. After loosing my sister 2 months ago my other sis did the eulogy and quoted a great statement when we deal w loss. She said (or took from someone else), "You can let part of you die with them or part of them live with you." Anyhow, we make that decision and we can all see that you carry Jesse with you in your life...you were clearly a good friend to him!

Joe, I never saw this post. I was Flying into Phoenix for the World Finals!!!!!!! Yes, it was the 2004 Nationals and P-Diddy was staying with us in our Camper! That was my first time to meet Jesse also......... Man was he a mess. But little did I know how much he would come to mean to me and my Wife and Daughter!!!!!! I am sorry to hear about your sister. I did not know.

Today is 3 years...........

I led the Celebration of Life Service for Jesse, One of the Hardest and Most Rewarding Moments of my life. It was great having some of our Jetski Friends from the X there. It really meant alot to me. I started off reading this (Below). Some of you may recognize that its a song, but it was adapted for one of the stories in the Bible. It really seamed fitting.

"To Everything
There is a season
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To Everything
There is a season
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together

To Everything
There is a season
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing

To Everything
There is a season
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late"

I work with almost all veterans. I was turned down due to eye sight or I would have joined as well. I think about Jessie every day he will always be missed
