I'm setting up a set of Blowsion riser bars on my ski and I don't have enough room for a Yami start/stop, trim lever and ODI grips all on one side. Anyone else have this issue?

You'd think a company as involved in this sport as Blowsion is would produce a handle bar long enough to run a trim lever and start/stop. I can see superflip bars not working but come on, everybody and their sister is running trim now. At least make a note of it in the product description.

I guess it's back to the lathe for this guy.

Yea...I agree with you, those bars need to be longer. The other option is to move the start stop switch over farther and open up the end a little so that is goes around the bend. Not a great option and does not look really clean...but it is one way to go.

I don't suggest this as being a great idea, but I've also just run the ODIs past the end of the bar and only clamped them on the inside and that worked fine. Specialized makes a lock on grip with the collar on only one side and those seem to hold well also.

We took a pencil grinder and trimmed the plastic from the start/stop switches on our skis. Takes a while to do all the grinding, but if you take your time and do it right, you'll be able to make it fit just fine.

any more infro on that? is one side start and the other side stop?
yes,
you can get color coded knurled caps free just let them know what color you want idk if they come in any other color than red and green.
the switch body's come in silver or black. i didn't ask about "custom colors"
the wiring is straight forward. unless you get the wrong circuit lanyard like i got, then it takes a little bit of thinking. i decided to use a skidoo snowmobile lanyard so it would pull off in any direction, unlike the stock lanyard which only pulls horizontal. that allowed me to do a sort of hid a key.
I'm very happy with it.
idk if its the gp800 cdi or what but the motor will turn over with the lanyard not attached but there is no spark so it makes noise but no bang.
the cost on them is about 65 shipped.
here is a link directly to manufacturer
i have not ran them in the salt but i asked them about it and they seemed to think they would be fine. if not they do stand behind there products with a lifetime warranty.

Thanks, Weston. I may try to come up with something like this. As far as the wiring in a stock start stop. Do both buttons just close the circuits? Start button completes circuit to deliver power to relay, stop button completes circuit to ground, lanyard when pulled completes circuit to ground? Ive never had to look at how these are wired.

Weston, want to make sure I'm tracking what you did. Do those switches have a integrated lanyard option or you put one off a snowmobile in-line?
