Riva Ported Flat Top Cyl Compression

Guys,I just got a brand new RIVA PORTED FLAT TOP CYL and I have no idea which domes to use.

Head will be ADA but... 22, 24, 26, 28.... which domes to get???

i think i have a set for ada head.. or greater head.. i have to dbl check..

I have a 24hs connection with KC.... :smile::smile: But I dont know is he has used this cyl before.

BTW. He will get the domes for me for sure when I decide with # to go.

Well... I run avigas in my other skis.

This will be a rec/wave/play ski and so Im planning to go pump gas.... On cyls with the same port job I've keeping compression lower than 190psi (180-185) and letting it a little rich and I never had problems.

the 27cc should normally put you around 195-200 and around 10lbs for every 10 cc so if you go 28cc you will be 185-190 and so on . this is on a 85mm flat top hope this helps you a little

Wow, I'm running 24cc flat top domes, with 58 squish, and 165psi per cylinder (no base gasket).

Riva tech told me around 180 ~ 185 psi on a superstock cylinder with 29cc 85.5mm Riva domes so if you run 30cc ADA domes you would be okay.
