Riva want to bend me over!

I just needed a filter adapter for a new 46mm single carb i just received ( via USPS to australia 5 day turn around $20). Look on RIVA's site and they have one for $10 Perfect!
Until they let let me know how much they want for shipping.

The shipping cost would be $60. via FED EX; this does not cover any taxes or duties your country may apply. We would require a bank transfer for payment sorry, but we are not accepting credit card payment from over seas. I will attach my bank transfer information below: Please confirm by sending the wire transfer
Parts $ 10.00
Shipping $ 60.00
Wire fee $ 25.00

Total $ 95.00
So if you live outside of the good old US of A don't even bother they don't want your business.

Really no shock to me since every transaction I've done with them has been f'ed up .
That's pretty much normal business for them .Be glad you didn't pay it cause you'd get your shipment and something would be on back order.:rolleyes:

There stuff is always on back order. And they never bother to tell you until you call them back and ask where are the parts I ordered 2 weeks ago.

youre obviously not dealing w/ the right people at riva. there are definately some slackers there that are no good to do business with. if you need parts from riva and youre not local, talk to bryan drucker. if youre local, talk to tony kwolik.

I'm talking about JetSkiMechanic.

I've done business with him twice. He was a dick on the phone both times. His prices are reasonable and his shipping is as well but his customer service skills S...U...C...K...!

i oreder some stuff them before
I spoke to some one who didnt know a thing about what they were trying to sell
when i finially went to there site and walked them throgh the part number it never got sent
I will never ever deal with them again
If i talk to robert sands
Jetski mechanic parts are on time and the correct ones as well
i never have to tell him part numbers just what i want
it works great for me
i do realise every ones experience is different

i find the same with riva I cant comment on the shipping as they never send the stuff out

I don't think I've ever purchased anything from Riva.

Years ago Riva was as good as anyone to order from. In the last couple of years I have had nothing but piss poor service from them. Everything I have tried to get is either on backorder or it did not ship out for some reason. I have been put off, lied to, ignored, etc. I will not order from Riva if at all possible, just tired of the BS. I have talked with many people there and managers but just BS and higher level BS. I'm done with those squirrels.

I've used him twice with no problems. Must've been in a good mood when I had him on the phone. I've called/emailed other vendors listed on here to get prices, and never heard back from them. I called Riva once, and got put on hold for 10 minutes. Hung up and never called back. Like they say, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
