ive never dealt with riva other than as a walk-in customer, so i dont know how there 1-800 department is about transactions. i do know that bryan drucker has ALWAYS gone out of his way to make sure i get what i need and if they dont have it, he'll spend as much time as it takes to cross reference a suitable part. he treats everyone that i send in there like that. bryan no longer works at the parts counter. he just moved to 1-800 sales but hes the same person as he was when he was downstairs.
for local parts sales, see tony kwolik. hes a local blaster/sport racer and a friend to a few guys on this site. billy ford is another good guy at riva.
there are some shady characters that work there that i specifically will not do business with. ill withhold the names to protect the shiotty.

When I was a support team rider I always delt with Pete. Great guy. If he did not answer the phone I left a message with what i wanted and he took care of it for me. Tony is great to work with also.
ive never met pete, so i cant say yay or nay about him.
also, the young kid with the dark hair is really helpful. i dont remeber his name. i dont think pwc is his specialty but he will take the time to learn and get you the right part instead of brushing you off because he doesnt know what youre talking about.

this is hilarious, I stopped using my local dealers and parts suppliers because they take forever to get stuff in and Riva ships it across the state in a day to 3 90% of the time. I use Pete also. the fist year was a little rough he must of been under pressure or maybe didn't care for my newbieness. after that he has taken awesome care of me! For me the gas and frustration of dealing with the local shops costs more than the $10 to ship to clearwater.
I don't really care for Riva either. If it makes you feel any better a few years back my buddy tried ordering a ride plate and some hydro-turf for a SJ and was sent a whole box full of someone elses goodies which he kept BTW .......... I have had awesome luck with Dan Fitzgerald from Jet-world and Pro-tec. The first time I ordered from Pro-Tec I asked if they would ship two domes and an o-ring kit for free and they said no problem.... Cali to Michigan. Not bad. they were also super helpful when I was trying to find some hard to get parts
