We are converting a dual couch trailer to a setup nearly identical to yours. Since the tongue weight can change dramatically with a ski on the nose, our plan is to put the back skis on backwards when we have a front ski. I am hoping that should move the weight just enough to the back to balance it OK.

I have a short 15' i made to hold 2 blasters and 2 or 4 superjets.. i balanced the axle so that I need to have a superjet on the front for tounge wieght at all times.. I stuck a big box (5x3x2) on mine to hold the spare, jack, chairs, tool box, easy up.. I will be sticking dual axles on shortly even tho it has a 3000 lbs axle now.. I have never had any problems other than cheap ass trailer jacks folding and I have towed it across the country a few times with a toyota 4 runner and now with my ford ranger 4x4.. just keep the wheels greased !

Whats the width of your trailer where the sk in front is?? What did you use to bolt the bunks to the trailer??? Thanks!

6 feet

they are welded/cut THICK 2x2 angle iron with holes drilled.. i used 2x8's for the two outside bunks so i could get the blasters closer to the center a raise the bond lines from the center ski.. 2X4's were used on the front and center

Added some pics to first post... now it has 16" custom wheels & 2 trips to Cali under its belt... holding up well (at 85mph) and works great.
