Turf is all done, it came out pretty good for my first turf job. Its not perfect but with some new red/black graphics I think its going to set the whole ski off.......

Took the graphics off, not sure if I want to leave it white, wrap it in something crazy in black and red, or just do a little something......dont mind the messy garage lol.

Looking Good, Keep a cover over the ski when not using it, The Red Turf will fade like a champ!. Any additional engine upgrades on your list? A B-Pipe is a must and Get that flywheel off to #ZERO and have him lighten that sucker up. Stellar jpb on the turf, Good luck and Good Job -JW

Yeah it is going to be in my garage or under a cover in my friends yard at all times. I know the red turns pink real fast lol. Besides the head the ski is getting a B-pipe, and some dual 44s. It also has a SS prop, riva plate, and scoop grate, tubbies and quick steer are on the list too, just trying not to spend all my cash at once lol. I am really only a few parts away from having it all. Thanks for the kind words...

Nice build man, looks killa in white.

Thanks, its getting there lol. Riding your ski made me really want to finish this damn thing haha.

I was going to do my red SN in the same turf but I was warned heavily away from it. My buddy has it all over his 650sx and it faded quick even sitting in his shed out of the sun. Ski looks great! Fantastic job!

Yeah my friend has the Orange and it faded after one season, hopfully covering it will keep it looking good still, if not I can always returf it I guess lol...Thanks for the kind words.

Get that :):):):) done bro, still time to ride! Ha-ha

Well I have been neglecting the ski for the last couple of weeks. Some more parts came in and I got a lot more together. Motor is in, pipe is in, e box is in. The ski now turns over on its own. I just have to plumb the fuel, bilge, and cooling lines and mount the pole. The ski should be RTR in two weeks. I wish I had better pics but this ski was soooooo filthy when I stated and it has come a long way.....

That's early for sure. We hit it march 15th last year and that water was cold. I wore my wetsuit and drysuit and was still frozen. Probably start more towards the end of march, beginning of april if we get some warm days. Make sure you bay test that thing before heading out in the surf with a fresh build in cold weather.

Im hoping to have it ready by spring the latest. I plan on putting at least 10 hours on it in the bay before the surf though. I have to get it broken in and make sure there are no major issues, lol. Much easier to fix it on a marsh then bobbing around in the ocean. Should be a fun ski to start out with when its all done...........

Ran it on the hose TN for a good 4-5 mins. Idled perfectly and reved freely. Everything cooled and it is all ready. I just have to neaten up the wiring and put the pole back on and we should be set.

I remember reading when ya got this, you beat me to this one by like 20 min haha. you definately did everything the right way. March 3 sounds good to me, I started March 4th last year as a birthday celebration. Hopefully if we're lucky we will get some warm air temps by then. Can I tag along for the maiden voyage?
