RN pole rivet size?

I cut 3" off mine and I still think I can go shorter. I'm 5'9 180 and it feels way better then stock. But Like
I Feel like I can do nose stabs but it's just not the same feeling as my 800sxr with its stock pole. I wish I had cut it a bit shorter like 4 or 5

1/4"-20 button head bolts with nylocks on my ski's.
This got me thinking, I have a whole pile of the button head screws and nuts that hold superjet rail trim on. I think I am going to use those on this next one .
should work just fine! i found getting the nuts started pretty easy. i feel much better having bolts than rivets in there, way stronger.
