That's going to spray like crazy! You need to make the rocker more gradual. Rocker isn't achieved in the first 6" of your hull, it needs to taper further back and not be such a blunt nose shape otherwise it isn't going to help with pearling at all and you basically just removed your spray deflector and bow eye to shorten your hull slightly. I've done my own rocker nose so I'm not saying don't do it yourself but I'd do more research and re-shaping before you start laying glass

Yeah the second picture looks like it is straight up because of the angle i had to take it on because my brother didnt want to be in the pic, you can see his feet on the bottom of it. Anyway i know it is more of an angle than i would like and i will be working to fix that first thing in the morning

Some more work done, bond rails shaped and glassed and all layers are layed. Now all i have to do is shape more and spend hours sanding

Well i have been slacking on this thread because i have quite the project at my house from about 10in. of rain in one day! Regardless i was able to finish the rocker, still have a couple touch up spots to do but seeing all these ski boats out i had to drop the motor in and go rip. Ride report as of tonite, the ski floats!!! Also it started right up, two things i thought might not happen. My brother rode it since he did some finishing assembly work i let him take it out he said it rides nice but splashes a little more, although he comes from riding an x-2 all the time. I will have a personal ride report tomorrow, maybe even a vid of it out on the water, anyway enough of me rambling on here are the pics....

Kept the factory foam up front when reassembling

Used Anti-Seize on every bolt i took off and got a sweet Riva Racing gas cap for a whoping $15

Also drilled and tapped the manifold for some dual cooling

I honestly might do that. It would be a winter project for sure if i do but first i want to see if i can make a mold or two out of the kit that way i have multiple ones since carter is not selling them in the states anymore.
