That's a nice sxr!! Don't think I have the skills for that kind of project. So far I'm leaning towards carterb nose kits, they look pretty straight forward. Just curious how well they could match up to a sxr hull.. Need pics!!

not to thread jack but ill rocker out any hull that comes my way :) just did a seadoo HX if you can believe that hahaha. Keep at it man itlll be a killer ski for sure. think the only other sxr rocked out is over in Australia.

gotta say i would have sold that sxr for the 8-9K you can get for them and bought a am hull and a 701, i know how badly people want those SXR's and their only going up in value

I'm working it brotha man!! Just put some 2 part foam in the spots i messed up, glass is next and I have to figure out something for waterbox and tank inserts.

It's not done yet, still needs sanding/paint but I did take it for a test ride sunday and holy poop balls it's pretty sweet. That was just in a lake so I can't wait to try it in some surf. Nose is a lot lighter now. I've been shedding wait off that thing over the months and this is the best it has ever felt.

I like it I think I'm gonna rocker and shorten mine this fall maybe minus four or five. Goal would be get her down to 100lbs hull and hood. I'll be sure to get a hold of you when I start mine. Are you gonna re make a nose piece or just leave her off?
