Roguepowersports.com - SXR 1100 - do you want one =)

@restosud No waterbox yet
@Scorn800 Its just a stock 1100 motor out of a ZXI. I do not know what RPM it is reving at but it using the stock SXR pump with custom driveshaft.25591_1217669214173_1602156983_30498926_7664216_n.jpg

@DJkorn do not know the weight yet

Ron is only at the first stage of the ski, he just wanted to build a kit to be able to do this mod and now he is able to sell the driveshafts,pipes and everything you need to do this to your own ski provided you have an SXR and 1100 motor sitting around. He is building 2 more and then I think he will revisit the idea of lightning and upping the performance.

How much more does it weigh than the 800?

DJ,

Depending on carbs, intake and head, with the stock pipe, it is anywhere from 38-42 lbs heavier. (give or take a few) I can tell you from lifting one in and out of the hull, it is HEAVY! I think it is going to be great for closed course, but I don't think it would work good for your kind of riding. If you make it to Wavedaze this year, I will bring mine for you to try if you want.

Oh I know it's heavy too! I had the pleasure of lifting one a few times this past weekend.

There's a bunch of 1100 sxr's being built. Everyone is a little different.

KAWASAKI SXR 800 / 1100 - ( 900cc PIPE CONVERSION ). I believe the pump is stock, I will double check . I do know Ron at Rogue was trying to design and build kits for just a basic swap at first with a stock SXR and a spare 1100cc motor ( for easy conversion).

Thanks, I'd love to take it for a spin..however, that is wayyyyy too much weight gain for me! You can try my trinity boat too....Its at least 75 pounds lighter than a SXR. Increases the speed of the ski alot, just by the weight loss.

I am sure it does. My mod blaster is only about 30 lbs lighter than a stocker and you can feel the difference immediately. I can only imagine how much different 75 lbs has.
