what did you use for that tie-down point?

Its a piece of .250 stainless bent with an offset.

Nice idea tricky.l also like MDstandups rear tow eyes.l have not done anything yet.Where did you fasten the stainless down? l really can't see it.

its bolted to the rear pump insert. Not for any heavy use but holds it on a tote or for slowly towing a buddy in.

I used a ubolt with a black rubber seal/stop from west marine

my build is kinda on hold. Midshaft is toast. Need a new one or new seals. Found koyo sealed bearings locally for 9.95 but they onle had one seal....

sorry guys! I found out my midshaft was toast so I'm kinda stuck! Bought all new stainless bolts recentlyand midshaft bearings. Still haven't ordered turf! Ebox is mounted. Installed a snowxr pump shoe....what a nightmare... Still lookin for a longer pole and sn steering cable. Resealed all fittings with black 5200. Rebuilt my 701. Waitin for it to warm up before the 10mill goes in.pretty much stuck till I get my midshaft rebuilt. Plus I've had alot of personal goin on and haven't bean into it... Prob haven't touched it for 2 weeks.

Sounds like you have lots going on, sorry to hear that, if you want my advise you should give up your Rok hull... Just too time consuming... Munki63 would probably take it off your hands for you... He is cool like that

Manfish,l put some cracks (probably gelcoat) in my Rok with the four bolts used to install the ebox.l devised a vibration cushion type mount by using some hard rubber and nylon washers on the inside and outside to keep anymore cracks from happening.So far it has worked.Just hate to see that nice black Rok get cracked right from the get go!
