The ROK-R turned out great and rides ALOT better than aticipated. Different, but Quite surprising really I could see myself getting used to it. congrats Charlie, nice boat and the 5gal tank has me JELLY!

i was concerned about grenading my plate , just like you did. i called jeff on it and he said it wouldnt break. i bolted 2 small brackets to the bottom 2 bolts of the reduction nozzle, so there was no space for the plate to flex. i used the handlepole stops from a kawi 750/800. i have landed mine many many times from big rolls (see avatar) and mine is still good.DSCF3886.jpg

Cool Idea fo sho, but 6mm protection would have my azz tight all the time LOL
Some is better then none as long as it is not putting stress on the nozzle itself and cause other things to break.
Charlie is putting his reinforcement to the test and so far so good. He has spare plates now too so he is covered in any event.

Thats a pretty cool trick Buzzard.

Sweet ski! I can only imagine what a 950 and a 155 does in a little hull like that. I know its just parts, but the engine bay looks really tidy, that tank fits great.

Go get some action pics!
