I'll put Kevin & Jen in the trunk, but I'll let the kid sit up front with me to hold my beer when I get pulled over.
I actually ran into Jen on Monday at a conference for our district, and she said they probably going to make it for the whole weekend.
I may try to load up Thurs. night and take off from work on Friday and get one night of partying on the beach in.

Is bringing dogs, generally, discouraged?

sjkawgirl will probably bring her new puppy. (hear that? If you don't bring the puppy, you might as well stay home :biggrin: )

We're canceling our California trip, and going to this freeride.

It'll be my wife, me, and our 3 extremely well-behaved dogs. A pug, a rott mix, and a St Bernard.

We'll bring everything we could possibly need, so don't worry about buying more food for us for that dinner thing.

EDIT: we'll be camping (on the beach?) with room to sleep 4 more people (comfortably) in our camper. If anyone needs a place to sleep while there, and doesn't want to pay all that money for a rental, let me know.

yes, you can set up your camper on the beach. the earlier you get there - the better spot you can get. There will be quite a few rv's/fun movers/toy boxes there.

Not to worry, there'll be lots of carts available to borrow, at least stand up sized carts. Just ask before you borrow and return it promptly from where you found it.

I have one that will take up to the size of a blaster you can use. But like Duckie said, we can get anything in the water. This ride is open to all skis, SJ to couches.

But, therein lies the problem.

My ski is a js550, so no problems there. My wife's ski is a 1992 Seadoo XP. It's about 1 foot longer and wider, and 100 pounds heavier.

Anyone got a sit-down beach cart?

The only other alternative is to put in at the Erman Pilsner boat ramp at GPS coordinates 29°22’07”N 094°45’06”W, or at the end of 15th and 16th street at the tip of the peninsula. That'd give me a ride of 10 miles.

I will have a 2 wheel big foot it can handle an XP just fine. I even use it for our waveventure sometimes.

So Between WC, Pman and mine we got u covered. Does the xp need a beach stand for the weekend?? I have one extra I can bring.

Keep the 4 spots open, we usually have 2 or 3 people pass out on the beach after consuming mass quantity of rummy worms. We can throw em in there!
