I've been practicing rolls for a few weeks now. Every time I've gone out I've learned something and improved a tiny bit.
I had some small rotation issues to work out, but: the biggest problem that was keeping me from rolling was my setup wake and consequently, height.
People kept telling me that I've had my rotation down pretty good already and was missing height.
I have finally begun to work that problem out. It's not 100% consistent yet, but I have my setup wake worked out to where I am a good ways off the water when I am inverted (Phill tells me ~3 -4 ft - don't know about that).
Today I have finally had a couple good attempts that I would probably call a roll. They were not all the way around, but quite a bit past 3/4. And I landed them with both feet in the holds and rode out of them rather quickly.
