I wasn't going to post up anything new until my "correct" graphics were done, but what the hell, why not...

Ride Report: AWESOME! I am not a pro, only a "Joe", so take what I say with a grain of salt I suppose...

Backflips: I have 4 riding sessions on this ski. First flatwater flip I went for - no problem. Over rotated it actually. This is my first year of finally being able to pull off flatwater backflips off my own wake consistently. I have around 20 successful backflips on this setup now. Now to work on sticking the landing and body position / posture. Just need more practice :brap: Last year I struggled and only nosed in off my own wake, but could make it around off a boat wake.

Barrel Rolls
: Rotation = crazy fast. I have to do everything in my power NOT to over-rotate. On my old Superfreak, I never had an issue with the landings. I am struggling a bit on the landings right now on the KDX... upon landing, the hull wants to slide out on me. So every landing, then turns into a 180 slide out... looks and feels "cool", but a bit more work to ride out of it because the nose wants to pop up instantly, and half the time causing me to tip over sideways... I figure eventually I will just man up, grab a hand full of trim and throttle and go into a back flip :Banane35:

All Around Riding
: Great for general cruising around the lake, chasing down boats (slowly), carving / turning, etc. I leaned into it pretty hard when turning and never had it slide out on me but when I wanted it to slide out, it would. Very comparable to the Superfreak in this regard. I built this machine for one thing... bottom end. I have not once done a WOT run across the lake and do not have a desire to. The only thing I would change about the setup, is the Footholds... I would position them 1 to 2 inches further forward like I had on the Superfreak. Perhaps this is why I am landing so "ass heavy" on my rolls and sliding out. Not sure... Either way, I love the setup and will be sticking with it! For an all out freestyle machine, X Scream Inc. all the way!!!

Hopefully this video shows up... just a quick one of a backflip from yesterday's ride session:

The graphics I am putting on are black on chrome. Unfortunately, my graphics guy baked them too long under the heat lamp and caused some edges to curl. He made a temporary set in all black to get me by for the time being. He is telling me Wednesday he is going to come over, remove the old and install the new.

Here is a shot of the chrome on black:

Here is a shot of the ski done, with temporary graphics:

Couple misc. action shots:

its impossible to ride out of a way over rotated flip. if you're using trim, dont. i have to be selective about when to use trim and i dont have your HP. sometime i think, UH OH, when it looks like a face plant is going to happen, but it usually comes around at the last second and i ride off. very nice setup you got there

Sick! I was gonna come up yesterday but ended up at Torch lake again.

Plenty of summer left man - come out whenever you can make it!

You are right - this video is very over rotated for sure. I am using Trim for all my flips so far. Next venture out, I'll try without. Either way, lots of practice ahead to get more comfortable.

Nice Roo!!! No trim for sure! I never use the trim on Zack's circus and that's with our 898 and me weighing 245lbs. Trim only comes in on multiples. We need to all hook up and ride!
