I spent a ton of time sealing up all of my lines and sealing up the tray thru hull fittings and sealing up all seams and bonding in the tray.. And I just drained 4 gallons of water out of it. Wtf?

When I put together my ski I had leaks around the inserts for the intake grate and rideplate. Even those didn't allow for that much water though. After sealing those it seemed like the driveshaft through-hull sprung a leak cause my tray would fill up real fast when underway but would take awhile if just sitting there.. Maybe double check that. Otherwise there isn't any other way for water to get in besides the bulkhead or your footholds but that wouldn't make sense with how much water you have there. 4 gallons is a TON I don't know where that would all come from.

Blow threw one of your drains and listen. Can also spray her down with soapy water. I found mine leaked around where the exhaust tube comes into the hull and the screws I used to put on the pump shoe.

I'm not kidding... About 4 gallons.. Idk where it's leaking. I highly doubt it's leaking by the footholds.. I was amazed at how fast it was coming out lol.

First, filled tray and let sit. No leak. Filled the engine bay up to above the exhaust hose, left it for a few minutes and no leak....Then, I decided to try the tray again and when it was full, crank the hose wide open and try to seal it up with my hand and then take it out and close it immediately so it had some more pressure.
Looked under the ski, and I saw water leaking down near the front of my intake grate and looking closer it turns out it looks like it's coming from my driveshaft tube. Hopefully it's where the tunnel meets the tube and not where the tube meets the bulkhead. If it is near the bulkhead, I should be able to seal it by taking out the pump.

Got some new cooling line, fixed restrictor placement. Took it out, put it in on the trailer and turned in my cols fusion pissers, and even at all the way in it doesn't change the temp that much, but finally the pipe was cooling down and alot more water was getting to the stinger and midpipe. Was still a little too hot for me to be comfortable not monitoring it.. So I took a hose clamp on each circuit and crushed the cooling line a bit until I got more flow out of the midpipe, and it flows very good and the cylinders don't run that hot even with the pissers restricted..
So anyways, I set the low at 2.5 and high at 2ish to be safe(very similar to factory pipes recommendation) tested it on the trailer and tweaked it a little bit and it ran perfect throughout the throttle range. Then I took it to our other big Lake and dropped it in... And I didn't have to touch a thing for the past 2+ hours I've been riding it. It has so much more power than before the rebuild and it runs so good! So far everything's working good and I haven't even played with my fcv or pipe screws.. The bottoms opened a little bit and I opened the top over a turn to be safe and I haven't needed to touch it cuz it's been running so good. I'll maybe tweak it later tomorrow or so, but I'm so freeken happy!! Feels so good to get back out there :)

15 gallons in and it's still running perfect :)
But I don't know how much more I can ride.. Stabs are tiring me out! Okauchee is awesome today. Decent boat wakes, but some rollers and chop form that are absolutely perfect for some good stabs.

Yessss I posted it a few posts up. Drive shaft tube. I'm just riding with one drain plug out so it drains while I ride. Pounding it this weekend then gonna work on sealing and finishing touches during the week.
20 gallons ran through it so far!

To be young again! I barely go through a tank and I need a days rest..
Ohh trust me I still get pretty tired.
Ran a little over 5 gallons again today :)
Still running beautifully! Had some a some boat wakes today.. Also tightened my fcv quite a bit and turned in my top pipe screw almost all the way, I believe it's at like 1/4th of a turn open with the bottom at like 3/4 and the mid just cracked. I ran it with the hood off doing some high speed runs and getting the rpms up to heat the pipe to make sure it wouldn't melt anything. The pipe gets hot but not hot enough to sizzle. I did the same with the fcv and the stinger doesn't get hot at all so it's good where it's at.
It totally rips! Should be enough power to satisfy me for a while!
When I pulled the plugs after a decent run they looked perfect if not just a slight bit rich. I only go wide open for a couple seconds anyways. It'd probably be fine but I just don't feel like holding it wide open and then having it burn up. I'd rather be safe than sorry but dayum, it sure has decent power :)

Even with 26mm pad and turf on both top and bottom of the holds, I still need to add another layer of turf on the top for them to be tight enough. If I'm wanting to get locked in tight sometimes it takes a couple kicks to find the sweet spot where my holds can really grab my foot, so an extra later of turf should do the trick so I whenever I kick in I'm locked.
For stabs and most jumps I'm not really locked in though. I usually just have half of my foot/toes in the holds for stuff like that and I stay in fine. I just want em tight when I go inverted.

Question... My ski definitely has good power and i believe with some speed and balls it's capable of a roll. Stabs are effortless with it. It definitely is pretty snappy! Question though.. If I were to add an ada head with 185 psi coming from 150,would I notice a huge difference? Is it just increased throttle response?

Just sent the Maniac money for my black ada girdled head with 35 cc domes! So I'll probably be surprised by the extra power?
