My driveline is:
ADA girdled head, 33cc domes @82.5mm bore with PROTEC cast pistons. Freestyle ported 61x cylinder sitting on unported 61x cases and a single 44 with carbon tech reeds and tornado f/a. TNT V3 pipe with comp stinger mod and original "power restricting" waterbox, lol. Msd enhancer with static timing advanced about 3deg. Solas 144 mag with 9/15 hooker, stubby cone and 85-86mm bored nozzle, thrust ez pull trim, and a scoop grate. For a 701ish motor she pulls pretty good in my opinion :)

You still on pump gas on those domes?
Yessir. Compression is around 195 according to my gauge. I was advised that with my squish and 93 octane I could get away with my timing and dome size as long as I didn't hold WOT which I never do. So far 6 hours on them with no issue.

How was your experience rebuilding an engine? First time?
I have a background of working on power equipment(family business sells and fixes anything from a chainsaw to 100hp tractor) so it's not real difficult for me. First time I rebuilt one was with some help from my dad but this one was all on my own besides a little help guiding the rings and my dad stopped by when I was sealing the cases so he helped spread some of the sealant before it got tacky. My cylinder has the intake side sleeve cut way down do its a pain to get both rings in with one person. The only thing I really dread is spreading the sealant. Other than that it's pretty straight forward. Just gotta take your time. I learned about 75% from him on rebuilding a motor and 25% here such as measuring ring gap, squish, etc.

air blair

you are the reason
Last night I put a new cylinder that I cut the sleeves as well and boy oh boy was it a pain to get then Pistons in there without rings snagging. I'll have have an engine very comparable to yours soon. I like small power.

Congratulations man! That's awesome... Im equally happy for you and pissed at myself however now.
Thanks man! Lol, don't be down on yourself. It's taken me hundreds of trys and I'm still not consistent. It takes a lot of practice to get your wake and timing just right.
