I am currently wrapping this beast up... a draft has been done but it was pretty unanimous from the few who "tested" it that it was too long... so some time was shaved off, things fixed, graphics changed, etc... currently the revision that is rendering out now is 1hr 34min and change... still need to get some stuff handled with music and stuff but there will be an official trailer getting worked up soon and hopefully soon after that dates for showings... we will see but it is almost done!

good to hear,you must have had a ton of footage if you still ended up with 1.5 hours after all the cuts hit the floor of the editing room.Hope your talking about shortening the talking and not the riding,I dont think there could ever be to long a flic with excessive riding....lol We all dream of going on the world tour if not but to watch and experience epic surf all over the world so this should be a treat for us all,getting to see it as Ross lived it.Must be a unreal experience.

Im not even sure how many hours of footage it wound up being but its over 2tb in raw footage alone... I think the project file has over 3,500 clips in it. Most of the trimming I did was tightening up the interview stuff (cutting out alot of "ummms" and "uhhhhs" kind of stuff), all of the riding is still intact lol... now I'm nervous about it living up to the core riders expectations lol... I guess we will see!
