round nose cover that fits xmetal pole and bars question?

picking my new ski this week. and need to know what kind of cover will fit over xmetal bars and pole on a round nose. wasnt sure if it makes a difference just figured some of you guys may know. dont want to mess up a nice paint job. im covring it with a tarp to drive 8 hrs would rather buy a cover for the futur trips.i figure 0 degree bars would stick out farther then stock

id rather ride with nothing than a tarp. the tarp will flap and hit the ski.

I don't have a cover that fits my ski so it never gets covered and it's never got a mark from the road.

I would cover it even if you have to cut holes for bars, but just turn them one way and you should be fine w/ stock cover.

yup, that would be the LAST THING that you'd want to do. Flapping cover or rubbing bungee will leave marks if it's a nice paint job you're concerned about. May want to get an oem cover and and have holes cut to fit the XM bars. May want to have the holes stitched around to reinforce so the cover wont tear. Another possibility- maybe take the bars off for the ride home with a cover (if it still fits accordingly?) Just a thought. Good luck.

didnt think about it flapping thanks for info. i knew some where form fitting covers dint want to buy something with out asking. thats always my problem i get an idea buy it and realize it doesnt work or fit . i figure one of you guys have tried something.

The OEM vacu-hold cover fits perfectly w/bars/pole and doesn't flap if you use a bungee under the middle. You can use mine to go pick up the boat. I believe I may even have an extra one new in the box. I'll have to look.
